Hunting for more outworldly places to visit, I have discovered a pretty intriguing location. Being featured in Destination Guide, on Second Life's website, it has raised my interest the moment I saw the picture with its description. So, there I was in the search of: Invisible Cities.
The minute you get there, you realize it will be an adventure to find those cities and by the environmental settings they have set on the sim, it can get really tricky to end your mission.
I'm not sure if I made it to all the floors available, but at least I did made it to one I like so very much. Its creator, Marcus Inkpen, also the creator of The Looking Glass had prepare here a concentric scene of medieval buildings. It is not a labyrinth, but more of a "getting nowhere" scenario as to each way you look, it gives you the impression you are always on the same spot. It is really very elaborate and I'm more than sure it has taken some quality time to build such an amazing and intricate structure.
You can find it on the 1st floor going by the name of: Cities&The Sky - Eudoxia.
Another Invisible City I've reached was maybe a replica of the streets of Venice, but abandoned and in darkness, with dirty waters and all the buildings being now ghosted and guarded by black cats of the roofs. It gives you a certain feeling while wondering around inside this city and gets even creepier as where you think there's a corner to turn, it's actually a break-through wall sending you back to where you came from and so forth. This one can be found of 2nd floor going by the name of: Trading Cities Esmeralda.
I surely recommend this sim to be visited while its still on expose. It is great opportunity to see something unique at top quality of creation.
Merry Part!
